Ride Company Brings New Excitement to “June in Olde Williamsburgh” This year's "June in Olde Williamsburg" festival will have "more rides, more games, and more fun", says entertainment company manager, Eddie Miracle
With Williamsburg yearly festival rapidly approaching, festival organizers have made changes to improve this year's event with a new ride company; Miracle Amusements. The new company has already committed to bring more rides than last year, providing more entertainment for festival-goers. Some of the rides expected to appear at this year's festival include thrill rides such as a massive forty foot tall FUN SLIDE, and the fifty foot tall ROLL-O-PLANE, known to some as "the salt & pepper shakers". Also, an improved version of the festival favorite ROUND-UP is scheduled for this year's event. Other rides appearing will be the HEART FLIP, a classic FLYING SWINGS ride and an inflatable OBSTACLE COURSE. There will be attractions for smaller children as well, including a large BOUNCE HOUSE. In addition to the rides, Miracle Amusements will also provide several games for this year's event. "We're hoping to make this year's festival the biggest this town has ever seen" said one employee.
Exciting as the festival atmosphere may be however, fun is only number two on their list of priorities. "Safety is the most important issue at any event we do" said Missy Miracle. “Our staff is fully trained, courteous, and polite. Our rides are inspected every day, and our staff is trained to look for any issues that might arise during operation”. If a rider is not following safety rules the operator knows it is time to stop the ride. “We've had over fifteen years of experience, with a perfect safety record in that time; that record comes from proper maintenance and dedication to detail”.
For some attendees though, the biggest "attraction" on this year's midway might just be the ticket box; "We'll be offering wrist-bands on several days for a single price, that allow riders unlimited access to the rides. Patrons wearing a wrist band will get to ride any ride they like, as many times as they want, during the time periods specified.
June in Olde Williamsburg will happen this year-June 4th, 5th, & 6th. Miracle Amusements will feature unlimited ride wristbands on Friday 12pm-4pm for $12.00, Saturday 12:00am-4pm for $12.00 and Sunday 12am-4pm for $10.00.
